End of Semester Allegory: Final Project.

Here it is. Enjoy the power of the wizard!

Explanation of my allegory:
In this allegory, there’s a lot of references to my time so far in Literature of the Americas so far. Coming to bard, I knew that if I did certain things right, the school could give me an excellent and powerful education. The map in the film represents that: Getting through the rocks gets you to the knowledge. I started in this class unadapted to the class itself, like my character who tried to break the rocks with his hands. I realized this, and so I made changes. I did eventually adapt to literature, and began to learn things. My character, in turn, starts picking away at the rocks with the pickaxes. Even though I began to learn more and more, it wasn’t smooth sailing, and there were ups and downs, like in anything. This is represented when my character breaks his pickaxes and has to get new ones. For me, whenever there was a bleak point (when the character runs out of picks), I managed to work through it and pick myself up (the character finds new picks). Time seemed to fly by in this semester, shown by the speed of the video. Finally, now that it’s the end of the semester, I kind of reflected on what I learned, and I realize now that it’s a lot of things of varying importance, but a lot nonetheless, especially compared to what I knew at the beginning of the year. This is shown by the character beginning to see the light of the knowledge room. I definitely am no master at literature (if that is possible), so in the allegory, a lot of stuff is left uncovered, to keep working for. As for the music, it's kind of a cheesy but funny song, so it represents the fun that I had in this class.
